I am THRILLED to start fresh! Last year was a doozie for me- with extreme highs and lows-- I became President of GoGirls Nashville (yay!), became a mom (amazing!), lost my home in a '500-year-flood' (UGH) and still toured in the fall-! After resting over the holidays and decompressing from 2010, I am looking forward to a BRILLIANT 2011~!!!! (It's been earned, I think!) Anyways, I hope that all of you have a wonderful year as well. Here's my favorite new quote (anonymous): "If a day has strength in the morning, peace in the evening, and a little joy in between, it is a good one.... You can live completely without complete understanding."

My exercize and wish for all of you is to stay in the present -- every moment-- recognizing and absorbing beauty; and that our 'right now' will cross paths soon! Love to all.

Tiffany Shea, GoGirls Music Nashville Chapter President & veteran of 14 years as an international indie touring artist, will be discussing & answering questions regarding what she knows & has learned about making a thriving career happen from scratch as an independent touring artist.... on either a nearly non-existent budget or with ultimate backing.
She will be sharing her experiences & encouraging discussions for 90 minutes regarding the do's and don'ts of building fan bases, booking yourself, merchandising, budgeting, house concerts, recording, image presentation (photographs), press kits, EPK's, pay-to-plays, the importance of & how to make fliers & posters, traveling safely, sanely, and professionally in different markets, and how sometimes all of this is different for a female artist; then from 8-9:30 we will have an open mic!

GoGirls Nashville invites all girls and women to participate-- (guys won't get kicked out- we just ask that you quietly & discreetly observe).

Tiff plays solo at Memphis Ladies' Bar Dru's Place from 8:30-9 pm, opening for the dynamo duo "Carol Plunk& the Belle Curves." Both of these shows are expected to sell out, so get there early to grab a seat!!! They'll be charging $15 at the door, but TIFFANY SHEA FANS GET THE SPECIAL PRICE OF $10!!! 6:30-9 pm : Come hang out with us at Indie Connect! We will each be sharing what we are working on, and asking for any references, advice, or contacts that will be helpful in getting us closer to our goal-- and then we will have an open mic! All ages are always welcome!!

We also will be collecting donations toward a year-end gift to Youth Villages, please give what you can to help buy Christmas presents for some local kids in need!!
